Revelations

(with acknowledgement to Greg Palast's book,
'The Best Democracy Money Can Buy')

Disclosure Bush extols but will not tell
Of secret deals struck in the citadel,
Who, even after our trade center fell,
In homage to the Saudi oil well

Allowed suspected terrorists to leave.
Let not his hollow rhetoric deceive:
Though Saudi royals bankroll Terror's fray,
The FBI desists and stays away.

We have a hellish, hideous Hydra made,
Spawning new heads, bloated on favors paid:
A beast of terror nursed at Islam's breast
But protégé of a corrupted West.
