McGraft

(regarding Ian Reed's lawsuit against former employer)

Standard & Poor's, McGraw-Hill Companies Inc.,
With Jackson Lewis of prolixious ink,
Mountains of merde from their malicious mints,
For love of money and its gilded glint,
Conspire to cower a single plaintiff's cause
And quote 'at-will' the stuff of wicked laws.

With deposition, document and din,
With interrogatories steeped in sin,
They come against me and defy the Lord,
But I in His name front the hubris horde,
Saying to these molehills ranged against me:
"Be lifted from your place and hurled in the sea."

Summer 2005
