End-Danger

So that His greater glory be revealed,
God hardened Pharaoh's heart, in spite of plagues
And Moses' countervailing miracles,
Stubbornly to keep in captivity
The children of Israel. At times God calloused
The heart of an entire people, so
That with dull ears, closed eyes, they would not hear
Nor see, nor understand. [1] Now as the media
Refuse to love the truth and so be saved,
God sends America a mass delusion [2]
With millions drawing to a doomed conclusion.
