Dog-eat-Dog

(on Tony Blair's resignation as U.K prime minister)

Blair's "not my poodle," Bush asserts;
he is "bigger than that." Perhaps. For Blair
left with his tail between his legs, and poodles
are tail-less. "Spaniel" would be more fair!
