A-Men

We use the phrase, "a litmus test," to vouch
The standing or the value of a thing.
Likewise, Lord Jesus is a stumbling block, [1]
By which the heels of some must kick at Heaven. [2]
Christ set parameters to guage the sons
Of men, accepting or rejecting Him.
For instance, blessing a righteous man
Is to receive a righteous man's reward, [3]
And kindness to the least of Jesus' brethren
Is deemed kindness to Him, gaining admittance
Into His kingdom and inheritance. [4]
Whoever welcomes children welcomes God [5]
And he who gives a cup of water in
Christ's name, is to receive a great reward. [6]
Just as, today, mercies of God allow:
Opposing War gains Heaven's passage now.
